CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
The Community
Outreach Group is once again giving gift certificates to those families who are clients of the Calico Pantry and Cupboard.
The store certificates will provide the dignity of the parents to choose gifts for their family.
Who is being
helped? The families are our neighbors. Many are working low-income struggling families. Some are folks who carry
heavy burdens of single parenting, of having a child with special needs, of being in debt, joblessness, or loneliness. They
are all God's children.
How many
families? LPC will sponsor five families. Each family will receive $50 in food certificates, as well as a $25
store certificate for each family member. These certificates should be for stores like Kohls, Kmart, Target, or Sears. The
food certificates can be from any grocery store.
Due Date: We
need all gift certificates by Sunday, December 13. A table will be set up in the back of the sanctuary in December to collect
the gift certificates.
Please remember
that this is an opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Our Background
Our congregation's history began in 1846 when the Red Bank Baptist Church started
a mission in what was "Leedsville" and is now Lincroft.Years later, the Lincroft Chapel was built in Lincroft Center. In 1951 our church incorporated as a community church. Then, in 1960, the congregation affiliated
with what was the United Presbyterian Church. Our present building was constructed in 1966. The old building is now the "Manow
Asian Bistro" restaurant in Lincroft Center.
Our congregation includes people who have lived in the Lincroft area all their lives
and others who are newcomers. Our interests and occupations are as varied as our geographic origins. We welcome persons of
diverse backgrounds.
